Responsible Gaming

Obsidianridges User Safety Policy Date of Last Update: 22.11.2025 At Obsidianridges, we are committed to promoting user safety and maintaining the highest standards of social responsibility. Your wellbeing and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we see it as our responsibility to make sure that your experience on our platform stays positive, balanced, and under your control.

We recognise that online gaming can involve certain risks if not approached responsibly. That’s why we actively support safe and mindful play, providing tools and guidance to help you manage your activity and remain in control.

Our aim is to offer an engaging environment where your entertainment remains safe, sustainable, and enjoyable at all times.

User Protection Policy

  1. Protection of Minors With the internet widely available on mobile devices and in homes, online safety relies heavily on parental oversight. To help protect children online, we encourage parents and guardians to use filtering and monitoring tools to prevent minors from accessing inappropriate or harmful content.

  2. Tips for Parents To support a safer environment for young people, we recommend that parents and guardians:

Keep your username and password confidential. Do not leave your computer or device unattended while logged into your account. Avoid using the “Remember Me” feature on shared devices, especially where children have access. Pay close attention to how minors use all electronic and mobile devices. Do not allow minors (under 18) to take part in any activity intended for adults (18+). Use filtering or parental-control software to block access to unsuitable online content. If you share your device with individuals under the legal age for social gaming, consider restricting their access to gaming platforms. There are third-party tools that may assist with this, such as Qustodio, Bark, Kaspersky Safe Kids, and Google Family Link.

  1. Tips for Users To help ensure that your play remains healthy and enjoyable:

Make sure the decision to play on Obsidianridges is entirely your own choice. Set your limits before you start playing. Take time to familiarise yourself with the rules of each game before you play. We recommend that you do not use our platform if:

It interferes with your daily responsibilities (work, studies, family, etc.); You are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.

  1. Keeping Track of Your Play Playing online games should be a fun pastime—not a source of stress or harm. To stay in control, consider the following:

Keep It Fun Online social games are designed for entertainment and should not replace real-life responsibilities or relationships. Play in moderation and focus on the enjoyment, not escape.

Monitor Your Time We’re glad to have you with us, but gaming should not dominate your day. Treat Obsidianridges like any other hobby—whether it’s going to the cinema or bowling—something you enjoy in balance with the rest of your life.

Use Our Play Management Tools If you feel you need a pause, you can request a temporary break or a longer restriction period at any time, as outlined in this policy.

Reflect on Your Habits If you’re worried about how often you play, consider using the self-assessment questions in this policy. They can help you decide whether you may need to adjust your gaming behaviour.

  1. Staying in Control We encourage all Users to play responsibly, so we provide a range of user safety features. You can manage how you receive Obsidia Coins by setting daily, weekly, or monthly limits.

Our support team is available 24/7 to help you with:

Setting a daily receiving limit Setting a weekly receiving limit Setting a monthly receiving limit To set up a limit, please contact Customer Support via email at support@obsidianridges.com.

Once your request is submitted, we will make every reasonable effort to apply your limits as quickly as possible. Please note:

A processing period may be required before limits are fully applied. Limits will only take effect once they have been implemented and confirmed in writing. If you notice your limits are not active, it is your responsibility to notify us immediately. You may modify or remove existing limits at any time by contacting Customer Support via email or through the 24/7 Customer Help contact form.

Take a Break & Account Closure Options You can request to restrict your access to the Obsidianridges platform in several ways:

Take a Break You can temporarily lock your account for a fixed period to help manage your play responsibly. Available “Take a Break” periods are:

24 hours 7 days Once a break is activated:

It cannot be cancelled until the selected period expires. After the break, your access will resume automatically unless you tell us in advance by email not to reopen your account on the scheduled date. To request a break:

Email support@obsidianridges.com, or Use the contact form in our 24/7 Customer Help section. We will make every effort to apply the break promptly, but:

A reasonable processing period may be required. Your break will only take effect once it has been confirmed in writing. If you notice that your break has not been applied, it is your responsibility to inform us immediately. Play Pause Options How Does Play Pause Work? Play pause allows you to request a longer, more comprehensive restriction on your access to services at obsidianridges.com.

Once active, play pause cannot be cancelled or changed until the full period has elapsed. The minimum play pause period is 6 months, and you may request a longer duration if needed. By requesting play pause, you make a formal written request to block your access to all Obsidianridges services. We will make every reasonable effort to block access to your account and apply a comprehensive restriction to ensure that, as far as possible, your access is suspended for the entire play pause period. However:

While we always strive to apply play pause correctly and quickly, we cannot guarantee a 100% fail-safe outcome. Your own commitment is crucial. For play pause to be effective, you should not attempt to bypass the restriction by:

Creating new accounts; Using alternative identities; Using any other method to circumvent the block. During play pause:

No daily logins, rewards, stars, or other points will be earned, credited, or retained. What Happens to Virtual Coins During Timeout, Deactivation, or Play Pause? Your account remains inactive during any Timeout, Deactivation, or play pause period. If your account is later reactivated, your virtual coin balances will be restored to the amount held immediately before the restriction began. No refunds or transfers of virtual coin balances are available during these periods. Any pending redemptions will not be processed if a Timeout, Deactivation, or play pause is in effect. What Happens to My Account Information During These Periods? Obsidianridges will retain the account data necessary in line with our Privacy Policy.

We will make reasonable efforts not to send marketing emails during Timeout, Deactivation, or play pause. However, we cannot absolutely guarantee that no marketing communication will ever be sent in error. If you receive such a message:

Please contact us at support@obsidianridges.com, and we will resolve the issue promptly. If you need access to your account information, gaming history, or transaction history during one of these periods, please email support@obsidianridges.com, as online support tools may not be available.

Making Your Play Pause Request To request play pause:

Contact Customer Support at support@obsidianridges.com, or Use the 24/7 Customer Help contact form. Remember:

The minimum play pause duration is 6 months. We will make every effort to apply your restriction promptly, but a reasonable processing period may be necessary. Your play pause will only take effect once it has been confirmed in writing. If you notice that play pause has not been applied, it is your responsibility to inform us immediately. Deactivating Your Obsidianridges Account If you want to close your account without setting a specific time frame, you may request account deactivation. This option:

Restricts access to our services; Preserves your account data and history so you can return in the future. To reactivate a deactivated account, contact:

Our support team at support@obsidianridges.com, or Use the contact form in the 24/7 Customer Help section. Tips for Play Pause at Obsidianridges To get the most benefit from your play pause:

Consider also requesting exclusion from other gaming platforms where you have active accounts. If you use social media, you may wish to unfollow, mute, or hide updates from Obsidianridges during your pause. Once play pause or any form of account closure has been applied:

You will no longer receive marketing emails from us, although it may take up to 24 hours for our systems to fully update. You may still receive occasional messages during that period—simply ignore them, and they will stop once the update is complete. Exclusion for Unregistered Users Even if you do not have an Obsidianridges account, you can still ask to be excluded from our platform.

To do this, email support@obsidianridges.com with:

Your full name; Residential address; Email address; Age. This allows us to block future registrations and prevent you from playing on Obsidianridges in the future. Play pause or exclusion for unregistered users will only be lifted if you later send a written email requesting that your previous exclusion be disregarded.

Obsidianridges may also, at its sole discretion, exclude you permanently or for a limited period if there are signs of a potential gaming-related problem.

Activity Statement You can view information about your play in the Gaming History section of the platform.

For information beyond what is available online, or for detailed Transaction History, please contact our 24/7 Customer Support.

  1. Self-Assessment If you’re concerned that your gaming—or someone else’s—may be becoming problematic, it can be helpful to reflect on the questions below.

Ask yourself:

Do you often relive past gaming experiences or think frequently about future ones? Do you hide or lie about how much or how often you game? Do you become angry or irritated when someone interrupts your game? Have you taken a break from gaming and then binged uncontrollably when you returned? When you feel upset, do you turn to gaming or planning to game to cope? Do you find yourself gaming late into the night or early morning? Do you look for ways to game even when you’re away from home? Do you set in-app or time limits for your gaming and then exceed them, playing far longer than you intended? Do you lose sleep because of gaming? Have you called in sick, turned up late to work, or skipped classes to keep playing? Have you uninstalled a game or sworn off it, only to return to it later? Do you feel guilt, shame, or regret about your gaming habits? Has gaming contributed to arguments or tension in your relationships? Has gaming replaced hobbies, sports, or other activities you once enjoyed? Do you forget appointments, responsibilities, or deadlines because of gaming? Do you become defensive or annoyed when others suggest you might be playing too much? Do you skip social events so you can stay home and game? Have you lost contact with friends or family because of your gaming behaviour? Do you experience intense emotional highs, lows, anger, or fear while gaming? If you answer “yes” to several of these questions, it may be a sign that your gaming is becoming problematic. In that case, setting stricter limits, taking a longer break, or seeking professional help or support may be beneficial.
